Many channels are waiting for DIRECT TV to begin the HD broadcast
DIRECT TV announced earlier this year that they will end up the year 2007 with 100 high-definition
channels. To icrease the bandwidth to attain this DIRECT TV launched a satellite DIRECTV 10 and its
preparing for the launch of new HD channels. 2007 second quarter financial results announcement
Chase Carey, the company's president and CEO of DIRECTV announced that they will end up with 70 HD channels
by end third quarter and finish with 100 HD channels by the year end.
Many stations are preparing for HD broadcast and are waiting for DIRECT TV's move from September
and one can expect many announcement about HD broadcast.
